ICSS is an integral part of the Deutsche Telekom Group. In the Czech Republic, ICSS entered the market in 2000 and has since then gained a significant position in this market.
In 2002, an access point to Deutsche Telekom's modern high-speed backbone network was opened in the Czech Republic, offering local customers a complete portfolio of products and services with high quality standards. The second access point allowing optional, full-protected access to the backbone network went live in Ivancice near Brno in 2004. Both access points are direct components of the European backbone network of Deutsche Telekom.
The main objective of ICSS Czech Republic today is to keep and extend its market share of international wholesale services, offering a full portfolio of international wholesale products starting with voice and transport solutions, VPN Layer 2 and Layer 3 solutions, and WiFi roaming and to increasingly concentrate on delivering complex sophisticated solutions for mobile operators.
