Austria is ideally located to act as a hub between the traditional Western European members of the European Union and the new entrants from Central and Eastern Europe. ICSS Austria started its wholesale business in 2001 and has since built successful and cooperative business relationships with all well-known Austrian carriers and Internet service providers.
In the voice arena, more than 20 carriers rely on ICSS for its outstanding quality and reliability. Our own ring connecting Munich, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, and Prague ensures high backbone availability. Thanks to our City ring, we are present at the most important telehouses, such as Interxion and VIX, and can therefore interconnect with all our customers without any extra local loop expenditure, while offering them high redundancy.
Our close cooperation with Deutsche Telekom’s subsidiaries (such as Magyar Telekom in Hungary, T-Hrvatski Telekom in Croatia, and Slovak Telecom in Slovakia) has let us extend the availability of the international network of Deutsche Telekom to the east.
